Waterproof GoPro HD Hero 2

The GoPro HD Hero 2 camera sits inside the GoPro HD Hero waterproof housing which is rated to 60 metres. The GoPro HD Hero 2 fits all the original GoPro HD Hero housings as well as all the GoPro Mounts. The GoPro HD Hero 2 housing is not only waterproof but it is nearly indestructible and will protect your GoPro HD Hero 2 camera in a crash. The front lens cover on the GoPro HD Hero 2 housing is replaceable if you scratch it.

The GoPro HD Hero 2 has an integrated battery warmer that is designed to extend the battery life in cold conditions. GoPro have also updated the LCD screen on the front of the camera to provide more information and make the camera easier to use. Additional red LED lights have been added to the GoPro HD Hero 2 to let you know whether the camera is recording or not. The GoPro HD Hero 2 has two buttons to operate the camera; the button on the front turns the GoPro HD Hero 2 on and off and the top button is used to stop and start recording. A WiFi remote control for stopping and starting recording will be released for the GoPro HD Hero 2 in 2012.
