About Us

Markland comes from a motocross background; he started riding dirt bikes back when he was 8 years old on a farm in the south west of WA. He started racing when he was 10 and has been fascinated with it ever since! Markland also rides downhill and skate parks on mountain bikes and loves wakeboarding and surfing. His career background is in the science and automotive industry.

Matt grew up surfing and skateboarding on the WA south coast. When he moved to the city to study he found the joy of mountain bikes and has never looked back. He has traveled extensively throughout Australia and overseas, spending a couple of seasons mountain biking and snowboarding in Canada. After riding road bikes and mountain bikes for many years, he has recently made the natural progression to dirt bikes. His career background is in mechanical engineering.

Mike, a previous customer of Launch, heads up the sales and enquiries side of the business and is a regular user of all our different systems. In his spare time he is the secretary of the Perth Mountain Bike Club and can be found either in the hills on his mountain bike or tearing around the streets on his motorbike. Mike was a skateboarder/snowboarder and software engineer in a previous life prior to blowing out his knee and joining the Launch Helmet Cams team.
