VIO Accessories - Cables and Microphones

Use this instead of AA batteries to power your POV from an external 12V source. The kit comes with a cigarette lighter adaptor, and a "blind" connector which allows you to hardwire straight to a battery (fuse included). The hardwiring option is a good one for situations where power might be lost (eg, car stalling), as loss of power generally means loss of clip. The back of the adaptor has a 1/4" female threaded receptacle so that you can mount your recording unit with mounts like the Ultra Clamp and XXL Roll Bar Mount. More photos...

The Tie Clip Microphone can be connected to your POV.1 or POV1.5 and used to capture sound in places where you can't get the standard microphone to go. Great for putting inside your helmet and commentating your ride or getting a microphone in an odd location - cable is 2 metres in length.
