1. How much recording time do I get on a 1GB card?

Video yield rates for a 1GB card are:
Highest Quality Setting (704x480, 25fps, high quality): approximately 33 mins
Lowest Quality Setting (160x120, 1fps, low quality): approximately 54 hrs

For a 4GB card, multiply these figures by 4 (i.e 2 hours 12 minutes in the highest quality setting).

2. What is the largest card size I can use?

The biggest SD card you can use is an 8GB card.

3. How long will the battery last?

The ELMO SUV-Cam II has a rechargeable Li-Ion battery that will give approximately 2.5 hours of recording or 5 hours of playback.

4. Does the ELMO SUV-Cam II shoot in widescreen?

No, it does not record in widescreen.

5. Is a wide angle or telphoto lens available?

The ELMO SUV-Cam II comes standard with a 3.8mm lens, which gives an effective field of view of 90 degrees. Wide and narrow angle lens kits are available, however please contact us for availability and price.

6. Is the ELMO SUV-Cam II waterproof?

No, the entire system is not waterproof. The camera head is waterproof and rated to 40 metres, however the recording unit is not waterproof rated.

7. Do I need a video camera to record onto?

No, the ELMO SUV-Cam II is a complete system that comes with it's own recording device that records the video onto an SD memory card.

8. Does the ELMO SUV-Cam II record audio?

Yes, the ELMO SUV-Cam II has a microphone in the recording unit. You also have the option of plugging in your own microphone, via the 3.5mm audio input jack.

9. Can I watch my videos back on the ELMO SUV-Cam II?

Yes, the ELMO SUV-Cam II has a colour screen which you can play your videos on straight away. When you get home you can also hook the ELMO SUV-Cam II up to your television with the supplied AV cable and watch the videos on your TV.

10. How much is postage and how long does it take?

Express delivery is included free of charge. Orders are normally sent the same day they are received (before 4pm WST) and take 1-2 days within Australia (depending on your location, allow extra for regional and remote areas). International orders depend on location.
