No, the resolution is 512 x 384 which is 4:3.

5. Is a wide angle or telphoto lens available?

The GoPro Wide has a super wide angle 170 degree field of view. This makes the video very smooth to watch, however it does makes things look further away than they actually are. There isn't any alternative lens options available for the GoPro Wide.

6. Is the GoPro Wide waterproof?

7. What format does the GoPro Wide record in?

Videos are saved in .avi (motion JPEG). Windows and Mac users should find these formats easy to use.

8. Does the GoPro Wide record audio?

Yes, the GoPro HD records audio.

9. Can I watch my videos back from the GoPro Wide?

Yes, you can connect the GoPro Wide directly to your TV and play your clips back on your TV. Alternatively, you can connect the GoPro Wide to your computer and download the clips to watch/edit on your computer.

10. What comes in the kit?

Package contents include:
1 x GoPro HERO Wide Camera with 170º Wide Angle Lens (5 Megapixel)
1 x Shockproof/Waterproof Quick-Release Housing
1 x Headlamp-Style Head Strap
1 x Vented Helmet Strap
2 x Curved, 3M™ Adhesive Mounts
2 x Flat, 3M™ Adhesive Mounts
1 x Three-Way Pivoting Side Arm Assembly
2 x Quick-Release Buckles
1 x USB/RCA Combo Cable

11. What are the mounts like?

The Helmet Hero package comes with a good range of helmet and head mounts. There is enough adhesive-based mounts to stick on four helmets and the side arm assembly allows you to mount off the side of your helmet. The headstrap mount is very practical (ie it works well but doesn't look very cool) and the vented helmet mount is good, although you have to be careful not to overtighten it. If you want to mount the camera in places other than your helmet/head, you may want to look at the Motorsports or Surf Hero packages.

12. What is the difference between the Helmet, Motorsports and Surf Hero packages?

All these kits come with the exact same camera and waterproof housing. The only difference is the mounts that come in the package.

13. How much is postage and how long does it take?

Express delivery is included free of charge. Orders are normally sent the same day they are received (before 12pm WST) and take 1-2 days within Australia (depending on your location, allow extra for regional and remote areas). International orders depend on location.
