The GoPro Surf Hero camera has been specifically designed for mounting on a surfboard and using in other water based sports. The GoPro HD Surf Hero is a new version that shoots in high definition, however it is more expensive and requires more computer power to play and edit videos.

The GoPro Surf Hero has a very wide angle lens that is great for surfing and the camera sits inside a waterproof housing that is rated to 30 meters (100 feet).
